A Ministry Safe Policy, with accompanying procedures, has been established for the church to demonstrate its absolute and unwavering commitment to the physical, emotional, spiritual and psychological safety and spiritual growth of all of the children and youth participating in programs at the United Methodist Church Westlake Village (UMCWV). The goal is to protect the children and youth of UMCWV from incidents of misconduct or inappropriate behavior, while also protecting the church staff and volunteers from false accusations. The church strives to provide a positive, safe, age-appropriate environment for all those who come onto its campus.
