A Caring Christian Community

Education

The mission of Christian Education is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. To fulfill this purpose, opportunities are offered to study scripture and to understand Christian traditions. It is hoped that lives will be transformed, through experience and reason, as individuals grow into the fullness of Christian discipleship

Christian Education (Sunday School) for children, youth and adults

Children’s Church takes place each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. in Room 4 of the Christian Education Building. Children age 3 years through 3rd grade share this time of worship before going to their classrooms.  Following Children’s Church, students are escorted to their Sunday School classrooms. Children in 4th grade and up go directly to their classrooms, as do youth and adults.

Walk to Emmaus and Chrysalis
A spiritual renewal program (separate weekends for men and women) intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. The approach seriously considers the model of Christ’s servanthood and encourages Christ’s disciples to act in ways appropriate to being “a servant of all.”
