The programs of the Social Concerns Committee focus on the root causes of pain and suffering in our world. Church is a place where caring people can come together to discuss critical social issues in light of their Christian faith. This committee provides the opportunity for our congregation to pray for the issues of injustice, to listen and learn about the social inequities in our world and seek ways to work for change. Some programs this committee sponsors include:
- Book studies and small group discussions
- Webinars and guest speakers
- Advocacy opportunities and community partnerships for change
